EBU has definitely gotten underway; I noticed the eggs around campus, and I've got pretty bad sense of surroundings. Good luck, fellas!

I've noticed my posts getting more and more activist in nature... I think it's partially due to the whole EBU thing, but I can't help but shake the feeling that maybe this really is who I am. Or, rather, that while I do want to be a film maker, I really want to be able to help people, too.

I still want to broaden my horizons, though. While I am going to try out the Peeps documentary, I'm thinking of covering [info]fairybun's transition from, perhaps, a more positivistic and scientific side. I don't want to come off as patronizing, though, so we'll see how the footage works out. I'm gonna put the music video on hold; I've already done one, and I think it was pretty good (refer to the last post).

So what else do I need to cover? A romance. I think I'm going to do a non-fiction movie based on [info]lonelyebunny. I need permission first, though.

Also, I kinda want to do a horror film. Inspiration? While I hate to admit it, Angry Alien's rendition of Night of the Living Dead did spark my interest. I came across this as well, though: Zombie Bunny. I've got some great ideas for location and theme, and I sorta want [info]darkeasterb to perform a lead zombie role in it, and I can already picture [info]bunnyblueeyes playing the valiant, albeit flawed, hero. I'll give more information as time progresses.

I'm really hoping I can finish at least one of these films in time for the Cosmos International Film Festival this weekend. It'll be rushed, but I'm used to the fast-paced life of easter egg delivery; I'm sure I can handle a movie edit.

Nix out!

Movie Ideas

Posted on 2006.04.18 at 14:38
So, I've been taking some time to contemplate what exactly I should make a movie on. I've already made one, and I think it turned out well. I decided to dabble a little in the music video industry and dampen my paws somewhat.
Let The Bodies Hit The Floor
Admittedly, it isn't my full potential, so I've decided that rather than filming a music video from a documentary position, I may try something more like this:
Everybody Else Has Had More Sex Than Me
I really appreciate this film maker's use of color and camera angles. I really want to try something similar. I've recently fallen in love with the song "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" as redone by the Disney Channel... the song really speaks to me as an aspiring film-maker. At this point, I'm strongly considering doing a music video for that song; the one they've made is rather dull.

As for other films, I've recently come across a few articles regarding the abuse and mistreatment of peeps, and I'm appalled! I think they're message needs to be heard! I'm rather surprised DEBA has announced their support for the rights of Peeps everywhere, but nevertheless elated. The EBU is not taking a stance on the issue at this point; I can't blame them, though. Anyway, I really am strongly considering doing:
"Peeps: The Silent Minority - Not a Peep or a sound."
To give you an idea of the horrible plight these poor fellows are enduring, here are some website supporting the mistreatment, abuse, and even mutilation of these poor creatures:

Lastly, I'm growing more and more irritated at AngryAlien Productions. Not only has my once-glorious inspiration as an independent bunny film-maker sold themselves to STARZ, but they've stooped to CURSING! I will not stand for it! No no no!

Easter is Over and Now it's Movie Time

I've heard rumors that other Bunnies are working as defectors like me. Only they're breaking DEBA code by looking for relationships instead of new jobs. I have heard of one bunny looking to become a Tooth Fairy and others organizing to fight for their rights with the Union. I can't believe I was stressed about becoming a filmmaker when it sounds like so many other Easter Bunnies are doing the same.

We can be who we want to be--we aren't limited to being Easter Bunnies alone anymore!

Easter Films

I'm preparing to make a major job transition, from Easter Bunny to independent filmmaker. Can anyone think of any major movies made with Bunnies? I'm trying to come up with names for my production company and right now, I think Harvey (based on the Pookah in the movie Harvey) would be best. What do you think?

Oh, and I'm totally skipping out on work right now (heheh)!
